I have a large cupboard filled with an endless array of spices. It is hard to find the ones I need. I ordered some spice gripper strips from Amazon that attach to the inside of the cupboard. This, I am hoping, will be a useful way to organize these spices and free up cabinet space as well. I can't wait until they arrive!

We have tried several things over the years. We had a little spice wheel, almost like a lazy susan for spices. Poor Susan, always being called lazy... Then we just tried to put certain spices on certain shelves but that didn't always work. Depending on who was cooking, the spices didn't always end up in the right spot. Now we have little baskets we put certain spices in and it helps organize them as well as make it look less cluttered. It doesn't help with freeing up space, but then we didn't really need it to. I hope your spice strips work for you!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, I think they are just mounted with some kind of sticky backing. I will know more after I receive the package. Amazon says it is going to be delivered tomorrow! I doubt that., usually Sunday deliveries only happen around Christmas.

@snowy22315 How do they stick to the shelving? Is it like a glue strip you peel off?

I don't usually use the wrong ones..but sometimes. I get frustrated when I know I have something and can't locate it in the cupboard.

I will have to look up to see what those gripper strips are... I simply downgraded just how many bottles we needed. We had way too many that simply collected dust!

Well there is always the odd recipe that calls for a spice you might have. I enjoy collecting spices..but not trying to locate the one I need.

Over the years I have tried different methods to organize my spices...with mixed success. Maybe in 18 months after we move, I'll try again.

Well, the people on Amazon seemed to like this idea..and say it works..I would be really happy if I could locate the spice I need without an act of Congress.

If everything becomes messy it really becomes a boring job to keep the house organized again.
