April 9 is the 99th day in the Gregorian calendar. It is the 100th day if it is a leap year. That is according to Wikipidia.
Here in the Philippines, April 9 is Bataan Day or Day of Valor. It is also known as Fall of Bataan and it commemorates the courage and sacrifices of those 76,000 Filipinos and American soldiers included in the Death March when Bataan forces surrendered to Japanese forces during World War II.
April 9 is also the day when Prince Charles of Wales married his long time friend Camilla. That was in 2004. And i hate it because i love the ever beautiful Lady Diana.
And lastly, April 9 is the most joyous day in my life because it is the day when i was born 51 years ago.
It is my birthday. Happy birthday to me.
