The Dressmaker - movie review

Today I traveled to Australia as I watched "The Dressmaker". This movie stars Kate Winslet and Liam Hemsworth. Kate Winslet is a woman who returns to her home from working in Paris. She's come back to see her mother. But she also has a problem on her mind.
A problem from her past has been plaguing her and she needs to get at the truth of the matter. And in order to do that, she has to revisit old relationships and has to try to bring back memories that have been buried for years.
This, for me, was an excellent movie. Parts of it are hysterically funny and others are difficult to watch. I came to care a lot for some of these characters and when a story can do that to me, I find that someone has done their job very well.

I also just saw The Dressmaker. Terrific movie. Hugo Weaving was excellent as the local cop with a taste for women's clothing.

@CRK109 I think I too would like to watch that movie.I like Kate Winslet.She is a very good actress.

I thought it was very good. Of course, Kate Winslet is a very good actress and she brought a lot to her character.
