I have water aerobics in the morning and my ride comes for me at 8am, so I need to get off the computer and see if I can get sleepy! I've started another new book, so here's hoping it will either grab my interest or be boring enough to make me fall asleep! I've gone through my calendar tonight to make sure of the week ahead and what's going on. Since Tuesday is grocery day for me again, I've written out my shopping list and made a menu list for the week. I just need to find some healthy dessert ideas for when I need a little something in between meals or after dinner at night. But that's something to work on tomorrow! See you all later! Claudia

I have to make out a shopping list. My ability to go to a store without a list and come home with what I intended to purchase has gone the wayside. We keep dessert simple. Somedays I'll have vanilla yogurt and others a small ice cream cone. Hubby has ice cream every night.

@JudyEv there have been times when I write an elaborate list and leave it on the kitchen table. What a challenge it is to try to remember what you need to buy. Sometimes I surprise myself and get most if not all of what was on the list.

@ElusiveButterfly I firmly believe that just writing the items down helps you remember them. I done the same as you - gone off without my list but been able to remember most if not all of the items.

I wish you a lot of fun in your water aerobics class tomorrow. Fruit makes for a tasty dessert. Maybe a little coconut milk over it?

I found a good recipe for taking either store bought sugar free pudding (or making my own) and layering it with cool whip to make a parfait, and adding fruit, as well. That sounds really good to me, so I'll be buying some boxes to make my own during the week when I want something a little special!

@CRK109 That sounds tasty. I've not eaten white sugar since last summer. I make a quick chocolate pudding in the blender and use dates for sweetener. I plan to do something with dates and cocoa for Easter cause I must have a holiday dessert! Must!!

I also make my weekly menu plan, it's easier not to buy too much. I like to make a light cheesecake as dessert, also a rice pudding is not too heavy.

@CRK109 It's a very long time that I do not make a rice pudding too, I like it a lot.

I found some weight watcher recipes for desserts that are said to be filling and very low in calories, so I'm going to try some of those. I love rice pudding and haven't had that in a long time.

Good morning. I hope that you enjoy your water aerobics class. I hope to get a three or four km walk in fairly early today. I'm beginning to 'train' and need to work my way up to walking 13 km in just under two hours. (First I need to work my way up to 13 kms)

wow that sounds great! I really hope that this time next year I'm out and walking, as well! That's my ultimate goal in all of this. (without a cane or walker!)

Me and shopping list never work. I try to make one all the time. But I always end up buying more than I should. I can't help it. They're on sales. What if I need them later and it become pricey? My in between meals mostly consist of fruits. Fruit salad or just cutting fruit into bite pieces. Have a good night.

Well, because I just don't have the money, I make my list ahead of time and check all the prices so I know what I'll be spending when I get to the store. I can't afford to go over my budget or I'll have no money at the end of the month. I'm also going to try to go to the food bank later this week to get some free food. That always helps get me through.
