Do You Have Your Christmas Tree Up?

Do you have your Christmas tree and lights up and all presents wrapped and under the tree?
*SLAP* *SLAP*
Ouch! That hurt. But I had to do it. I had to slap my own face. Twice! I had to bring myself back to reality.
Just because it’s snowing doesn’t mean it’s December. Yes, it’s snowing on April 10th. I had to sweep it off my car this morning before going anywhere. A good inch (2.54 cm).
Granted, it is a very wet snow. And it’s not sticking to the road even though it has turned lawns white. It’s supposed to turn to rain later and we are forecasted to have thunderstorms this afternoon.
As the lady on the radio said, “This is spring in Spokane.”
I’m sure it’s snowed on April 10th before but I can’t remember when. And @much2say wanted to know if the snow melted off the mountains I snapped a photo of a couple of weeks ago. I think not. Matter of fact, about a week ago, one of the local ski resorts announced they had receive eight inches (20.32 cm) of new snow. I’m guessing today is a new snow for them day as well.
Now that I realize it's not Christmas I'll get back to thinking spring. Only no spring birds are chirping right now. They are probably as confused about the weather as I am. Probably wondering if they flew north too soon.

How can it possibly snow anymore 
? I cannot even imagine . . . it says it is 80° here today but it feels hotter than that. Seriously, tank and shorts weather again.

@RichardMeister Every week they kept telling us we would have showers on at least one day out of the week . . . but it hasn't happened. I think we are really done with any sort of rain. I have a feeling it's going to climb to high temps from here on out. We would love to take on any spare rain or cool weather you have out there!

@much2say Today the sky is cloudless and there's a slight breeze. It looks like summertime but it's only 38º right now. If you want cooler temps and rain you'll just have to move up here. There are no ocean beaches close by but there is something like 76 lakes within an hour's drive from Spokane. Of course you can hop a plane and be in either Seattle or Portland, Oregon in about 45 minutes.

Tuesday morning we are supposed to wake up to below freezing temperatures (that is below 32º F) but no snow. It's supposed to get up to at least 50º and be sunny and clear. Then the rain is supposed to move in on Wednesday and it's forecasted to be very rainy until Saturday when it's supposed to clear up for the day. A few light rain showers are forecast for Easter.

We have only had a couple of nice days like that this spring. I heard on the news that the three days, about a week ago, when it didn't rain was the first three days in a row that it hadn't rained or snowed since early November.

@MALUSE Florida? You mean the hurricane state? No thank you. Once summer starts brewing it will be just as nice and hot here as in Florida. I have a cousin who moved to Florida for work. As soon as he retired he moved right back here. Besides Christmas really stinks if it's too hot for snow.

Today started out bright and sunny but now it looks like rain again. Yes, we had plenty of snow this last winter as well. Now we are having plenty of rain.

It is sunny and quite mild here today and I am happy about that. Please don't send your snow our way because I've had enough. We are finally enjoying some spring time weather.

Its very hot in here. Humid. We are at 31degrees today. Air conditioning is just not comforting enough. Only it is making my bill high.
