Pet at home!!!

I had adopted a stray dog few months back, Initially I was doubtful about my decision as I have a 2 year old kid at home and the dog wasn't a clean looking definitely. But I am glad I made this choice. After few sessions of grooming,initial checkups and the vaccinations, the dog has transformed.My only kid is more happy now as she has a friend to play with. Dodo(My dog) takes care of the kid all through the day. And when the baby is happy, Dodo is happy, momma is happy too!!!

@SWATIBHATGAIN This is good to know. At the end of our street, I know a group of street dogs, they act like kind of security. Everyone from the street used to feed them & treat them nicely. They never attacked anyone, and whenever we had to walk during late nights owing to emergencies, always accompanied us, wagging tails.

Hi Maheeth, I second you, street dogs do so much for us without even being asked for! They are the guards at service 24*7 and nobody dares to cross the street... I have heard of many stories of burglars getting caught by the Police with the help of stray dogs.. They are the smartest...

@dpk262006 Yes I am taking all the precautions...The dog has been vaccinated by the vet... And is under his constant supervision..Thank you!!!

Thanks Laurel, Everything is really looking great so far!!! It's really a nice thing to let your kid grow with the pet...They learn a lot with each other's company. My daughter has learned to share her food with Dodo without my participation..And that is indeed a good sign..

I'm glad Dodo found a home. So many stray dogs and cats every where now and they all need a good loving home.

@SWATIBHATGAIN We had so many dogs in years. Some were given to us by friends. But some just wander in the house, then my dad give them bread and water and they don't leave anymore until the day they die. And they were kind of special in some ways. All of them. Oh and even cats.

Dogs love the owner more than themselves. They are the good example of unselfish love (God is the ultimate perfect example of course).
When you take care of dogs. They will take care of you.
If you give them house. They will give their world.
Dogs are lovely creation by God.

Hi Manvi, Same here I love dogs too!!! Yea Dodo is a lovely name, I had one labrador of this name before, he was really close to my heart, so technically he is Dodo Junior or i had cut it short to DJ :P
