Today ended up being lemon day

I am not really that much of a lemon fan but somehow I ended up with lots of lemons plus lemon cupcakes. I made lemonade, and had a lemon cupcake for dessert. I even had a bit of lemon in my tea. I guess lemon reminds me of Spring and Summer. I may start puckering any minute

Yes, lemons are lovely. Guess we can't all have the same taste for fruits.

They are a little too tangy for my tastes. Plus when I was a teenager I once got ill after eating lemon cake so I haven't liked it much since then. I probably only started eating it again within the last 10 or 15 years, and then it isn't generally alot.

OMI Gosh, and you will pucker if you do that! I just thought of something though I could have made like lemon candy out of the rinds. My brother in law does that puts lemon rinds ina bag of sugar.

@LadyDuck I haven't tried that other than lemon sauce for gingerbread, but I think it would be good, although I think hollandaise sauce takes some lemon.

I got attracted to these in the store because the icing was mounded way up on them. I thought they looked really inviting.

@JudyEv Yeah this wasn't too bad but last year I bought some cupcakes that were over iced, and it was too much. I don't like things if they are too, too sweet.

@snowy22315 very true. I guess i mainly dont like them because when i was around 7 i got allergic to something and the dr told me to suck on a lemon twice a day. For 3 days. Hated it.

Yeah, it isn't really my favorite, but once in awhile I will go for it. I would rather have chocolate, raspberry or orange.

Huge lemon fan. Lately my favorite is lemonade ice tea. This comes in so many different varieties. I even found the ones you can add to water which is great too.

I have had some of those "Arnold Palmer" type drinks, they don;t do much for me. I think I would rather have one or the other.
