Food in the houseboats in Alleppey are very delicious.

In Alleppey, the visitors are given food in the houseboats. They range from caramel fish fry to sambar dal to chicken curry in the evening and also fruits, idlis, uttapams to name a few. At different hours of the day, different food is given. They are simply delicious. Kerala is famous for spices and they add taste in the food.

Thanks Kandase, Sambar Dal has a lot of vegetables in it like potatoes, cauliflower, ladies finger in it, so it is delicious and consumed with rice.
