Do you comment on inactive users posts?

I have noticed that some users here on Mylot are not very active, some are totally inactive. I was thinking to myself that it's impossible to interact with such people because it is more likely that they won't respond back. Do you comment on inactive users posts?

Sometimes I do On my trawls through mylot I very occasionally come across someone I knew from the old days. I do add a comment or a response in the hope that they'll come back. Unlike @JolietJake I've yet to get anything back but I'll keep trying if it is someone I once knew. In general I leave them alone and stick to active members I know will get back to me...my time here is limited now.

@Mike197602 Mylot is all about interaction. So when you know that someone won't respond it's better to leave them.

@Lubuto I'd agree with that Although I would say that members who have been here a few years should try to get back to older members they used to know

I do if it is someone I used to interact with here. I've posted on a few old discussions of people I know from years ago, and a few of them actually came back.

@Lubuto Yes, some may. There are many older users from pre-2013 that never came back when it began paying again...some don't know, some, unfortunately, passed away.

I used to be on here everyday, but lately I have been on here twice a week. I don't comment on inactive users.

@Lubunto if the post is interesting, I'd do. Anyways, I'm new here, and what would be the best course of action?

The thing is when you comment on an inactive user post. They won't respond meaning you won't earn anything.

@Lubuto Then that would be bad to comment, right?

I'm not sure I understand. If they are inactive, how can they have posts? Do you mean very old posts that have just been sitting there?

@CRK109 The users who don't comment or respond even if you commented on their posts they won't respond back.

Not sure have to answer this.I comment on my friends here.We all take time to get away from here for a breather. After all it is our warm weather and people are doing some fun, fun, fun things out there.Yes I do.

If I've commented on several of someone's discussions yet never get a response from them....either to my comments or to my discussions.....they are on my "don't bother" list. The inactive accounts that show up under the "You Might Also Like" column might get a response, but most of the time I look for active Mylotters.

@Morleyhunt You are right it's better to put them on a "don't bother list " after all Mylot is all about interaction so no need to interact with someone you know won't respond back.

There are always old posts on the right margin of the screen. Before I comment on any of them, I always check if the member is still active. If he or she hasn't been active for a long time, I don't respond. That would be silly.
