Clif Bar White Chocolate Macadamia Nut

When I'm on a long bike ride, say, 25 miles or more, I tend to refuel with energy bars as I ride. My go to bar have always been Clif Bars. Made with organic rolled oats, Clif Bars are an excellent source of energy as you work out, and their White Chocolate Macadamia Nut flavor is a tasty option. In fact, until I tried their Chocolate Coconut flavor, this was my favorite Clif Bar. Chock full of Macadamia chunks with a white chocolate drizzle, this doesn't have that almost overpowering rice/soy syrup flavor that's prevalent in other Clif bars. It could use a tad more white chocolate flavor, but that's my only complaint. I would recommend eating these during strenuous exercise, so that you can burn off the carbs (42g, 20 of which are sugar,) and calories (260, 60 of which are fat.) You also get nine grams of protein. Even with more white chocolate needed, these are my second favorite for a reason. They are perfect for your next long run/ride/hike/rock climbing excursion, etc. (Photo by me)

Tried them and liked them, I am a fan of protein bars, especially when I am painting a hole house in a day.

@teamfreak16 -- it wouldn't be so bad if it's something other than high fructose corn syrup and all that....

@FourWalls - These guys use organic brown rice syrup. It's the main ingredient.

I've seen these bars, over here, but I recall the price was a bit on the steep side. As I like slower rides, I find a peanut butter sandwich works well for me.

Peanut butter sandwich is good. Banana's, too.

I've been curious about those bars, but I don't do enough strenuous exercise to burn it off I'm afraid. :-)

Nice. I like Clif bars but I havent had this variety. I just bought some Luna bars that are in that flavor and am excited to try it. Was a little bummed that there is only 8 grams of protein in some of these Luna bars though. Thanks for suggestion!

It might not be available there. Wonder why. The Philippines is a good market.

If I eat those while sitting at my desk I'm afraid I will get a serious case of "Secretary's Butt"
