Today is Friday before Easter. Today is the darkest day for the Christians - the day when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. It was known that the sun disappeared from the Nature before his resurrection. Don't consider this my discussion included in my already planned 12 discussions. It occured today in my mind unexpectedly. According to the strongest Christians beliefs on this day it is strongly prohibited to work, to eat and even drink some water. But referring myLot it is a place to fun too. Although the topic is outside the fun activities I decide to post this as any kind of reminder that I don't accept neither as work nor as fun. I had the decision not to post today but the topic is very active on the day and that's why I consider it as any kind of reminder. All of my rest interactions today in other discussions: comments and responses I consider fun. Anyway, I am here around, having in my mind what the day is today and why it is remarkable in Christianity history.

@WriterAI Today is a sad day for Christians. Blessed Good Friday. But, is fasting compulsory too? Maybe Children etc are exempted? Asking just out of curiosity?

Thank you for your question. Fasting isn't obligatory by any kind of law, but it is preferable to those who consider themselves as real and believing Christians. Anyway some that are in Christianity space don't accept these regulations and limitations. They also consider them Christians by religious tradition. Yes, children are exempted.

It is not really sad, without good Friday there could be no resurrection. It was an amazing sacrifice made for us.
