Easters of days gone by.

I remember Easters as a kid being good times, we would wake up and, go hunt eggs in the yard, both real hard boiled eggs and, the plastic eggs, then when we came in Mom would give us Easter baskets, with chocolate and, a big chocolate Easter bunny, we also used to go to church service every Easter and, then we would go to both of my Grandparents houses and, hunt eggs there too, plus also have a big feast at each. What did you do for Easter as a kid?

We have similar experiences my friend, we wake up early because we were so excited, some of the eggs we hunted also had money tags that we could redeem, the golden egg had the highest price but it was so difficult to find.

We had to go to church and there was an Easter egg hunt there and when we got home we had a Easter egg hunt. I did not know my grandparents until I was in my teens but I did get a card from them.

I think there might have sometimes been at our church, but I don't remember that well, mostly just hunting eggs at our house and, Grandparents. Glad you eventually met them.

We would wake up to easter baskets in the living room. Look in them, then go around looking for the easter eggs. While my mom made breakfast. Then i think we went to church, for some of the easters. Then watched tv while my mom made dinner and we ate. Lol

The company my mom used to work at held Easter events and we'd go to the Easter carnival and I'd go on an Easter hunt and have food, play games!

Hunting easter eggs are not common here. But I had tried one time at the age of 5.

Easter on our farm was much like any other time. We didn't have any religious affiliations and holidays didn't make much difference. There was still all the regular chores to do of feeding animals, milking cows, etc.

It's church and going to the beach for us. Easter egg hunting is not our culture but these days we are adapting it. So children these days go easter egg hunting at the mall or some subdivision here would sometimes host it.
