I know how to spell...why doesn't my keyboard?

I know my browser does, because it likes to remind me when my keyboard misspells something. It's like the characters on my keyboard shift places while I am typing, and suddenly 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' becomes siercajifrfilidticexpoaludicious. Do you think it would help it I put new letters on it?

The absence of letters doesn't bother me (once as a practical joke a coworker rearranged the letters on my keyboard at work and I never noticed), but the dirt between your keys does.

@JolietJake I imagine every time you type a letter , a dust ball hits you in the eye.so this may be the reason you can't spell correctly

@JolietJake I wonder what my glorious 3 years old laptop Italian keyboard is going to be like in 5 years. I don't think the laptop is going to last that long, whatever. @jujunme Ouch. But I think you're pretty right.

I agree, but I hate when even spell check does not even know how to spell the word I am trying to spell. It is like damn, you are that dumb.

I hate buying a new one when this one still functions good, but some days I just can't quite remember where everything is.

You might try getting canned air and cleaning out under the keys

What gets me is at times when I simply forget how to spell a word I use (and type) all the time...I sit here frozen staring at the keyboard

I get the 'extra' letters occasionally too. I must be bumping the edge of the key next to the one I am aiming for.

So sorry your key board is misbehaving, Mine is likely to do that on a daily basis too...Trust me, a new one will not be better than the old one. I tried that!

@JolietJake hmmm, seems some of the letters in the keys are already gone. that is one reason too why i have the new keyboard. the letters are all big and bold.

The lack of letters is not a problem for me, but I know that my husband is complaining of this problem. You both need a new keyboard.
