Food photography #1 (courtesy of Mr. AFR, my colleague)

I wish to show you a photo of the lunch we had 2 weeks ago, (April 2) where I thought about that plant as a fake. I had that plate at the left, my sister, at the right, and my son, that one above my plate. I thought of making the title of my discussion as “food photography”, courtesy of my colleague, who always posts on Face Book the foods that he eats. I think I did justice to the picture, with the phone camera that I used here. The arrangement of the food is really nice; the taste and flavors are even better. I think their manner of arranging the food in the plate adds more interest to other food aficionados. The restaurant was full of people that time. Do you know how much was my plate of food? It was worth P99 only; well, mine and my sister’s cost P99 each. My son’s is worth P110. Fine dining? no, it is just lunch.

Cool, around six dollars for all three. I love that barbeque chicken and Java rice can't see what you ordered except for the vegetables

unfortunately, the value meals did not have vegetables. but in my order, i thought i had the pepper and onions to add more nutrients to the food. vegetables came in bowls amounting to more than PhP115 per serving.

I was going to ask what those prices are in dollars but I see that @louievill kindly made the calculation.

I just felt that a lot would be thinking the same thing and still go to a peso to dollar conversion site.

@LadyDuck i'm always googling whatever i come across here. but every time i mention a price or peso value in my discussion/response/comment, i always include a us$ conversion so readers can get an idea how expensive or cheaper compared to where they live

That doesn't look bad. I like the food arrangement. though I never go to places that do that. It sounds like it is cheaper than what I normally pay for a meal when I go out.

@SIMPLYD no, Mang Inasal here is an open food store; the restaurant where we ate is somewhat semi-formal, that was why there was that succulent plant on the table. the customers were somewhat 'reserved and decent', unlike in Jollibee, MacDo and Mang Inasal where we can shout or talk loud with each other and nobody minds. hahaha! but no, it was not fine dining.
