My musical journey Pt. 1

As suggested by @JamesHxstatic I bring you my musical journey! :-) Even though you couldn't tell it by how much I practice these days - it is true - yours truly, Fayehazel is a bass guitarist. But I'm getting ahead of myself. If you enjoy my musical journey - please check out the musical journey green box at the top. My interest in strung instruments started almost 20 odd years ago. A teenager at the time I had recently discovered the joys of music. As is typical for me, I like to be involved with what I take an interest in. I became fascinated by the thought of playing guitar. Why guitar? Well, I was a big U2 fan and think I had a pretty black acoustic on my mind, the sort Bono used to strum. Later I would learn that Bono's guitar capabilities were called "rhythm guitar"., leaving the showier lead guitar parts to his cohort , The Edge. I bought a book about how to play, but I had no guitar. I tentatively let my parents know of my aspirations. I was hoping to borrow enough to buy a cheap black guitar (you know, like Bono's.) Instead my parents bought for me a nice, higher priced acoustic guitar, case, books, strings and lessons. Thus began Faye as a guitar player.
