I think one of the best things about a big holiday dinner is having leftovers for days, I am now eating a Turkey sandwich and some macaroni salad, and later I may have a slice of cherry pie. Do you like leftovers? Are you eating anything you had for Easter dinner?

We also have big meal for important festivals, such as the Spring Festival. And it seems it is a tradition to have the leftovers, too. That means to say that your family finance is fine because you have some food left. In fact I am not quite keen on leftovers because it is boring to eat the same but less delicious food again. If I cook, I don't want to have leftovers and everybody must finish the food

Leftovers are great!! We are actually still eating the ham my ex gave us at Christmas that I sliced up, cubed, etc., and froze. I brought home fresh ham from a friend's house yesterday plus some asparagus. This morning the 3 of us (DIL, my granddaughter and me the grandma) had a lovely omelet with cheese, ham and asparagus! Ham sandwich at lunch and probably scalloped potatoes with ham and peas for dinner.
