That's a good idea! But how

An old friend from high school messaged me and asked me a question and it was really cool! So they know that I crochet and they have seen my work and asked if I ever thought of livestreaming while I crochet. That...I..I have actually had this idea but never thought to actually do it. But I also don't know how I would do it seeing as my computer is slow as heck. So maybe that is a new goal in my life! To figure out how to livestream crocheting, that sounds like such a fun idea! If you have any tips on how to do this, let me know!

Your cellphone? Would you want to livestream via facebook or via youtube? You can use your cellphone, maybe buy some sort of tripod for it...

I don't want to use my cellphone, I love my phone and don't feel like killing it off so soon haha and it would probably be on Twitch

@DesirousDreamer Does twitch do more than gaming streams then? What about budgeting for a cheap tablet, but with a good camera? Or even just a vlogging camera? I guess it depends on how serious you want to be about this. I wouldn't shell out money right away.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't have any money for extra stuff haha or else I would. And yes Twitch has added in the creative tab so people can do things that are kind of based off games maybe I don't know haha

People watch other people eating or staring at the ceiling, I think crocheting would be more interesting. Cellphone as @ScribbledAdNauseum said, sounds like the best plan. I'm not sure a crowdfunding for a better computer would work this early.

What kind of computer do you have? Also what kind of phone do you have ? Livestreaming might not be as hard as you are thinking it will be.

It is am HP laptop but it was a really cheap laptop so it is slower than mollasses at times. And my phone, I don't want to use it for streaming, it is the best phone I ever had and I don't want to kill it haha I just want a camera, that would work much better

That sounds like an interesting idea. I can imagine something like an online knitting/crocheting group instead of an in-person one. I have never live streamed anything before, but I know it is becoming popular these days.
