it's just a little ear rub

We have a compounding pharmacy nearby, where they make the medications for pets right there. In this case, it's a husband and wife working together to help the pets in our community. Last night, they also helped this pet owner, as well. They are wonderful people to have come to my home to bring the medication.
So, this cream comes in little syringes. They explained what the dosage was for my cat. They gave me little finger "cots" (little rubber finger covers so my fingers don't touch the cream directly). I simply push the dosage onto my covered finger and then just rub inside the tip of her ear for a few seconds. And then it's absorbed and I'm done. The pharmacist said they have done this for many cats and it brings their thyroid back to normal and helps them gain the weight back and get back to being their normal selves again.
We're leaving for the vet in about an hour. I hope she doesn't find anything else wrong. She wants to give my cat an antibiotic shot because her white blood cell count is up. I still have a very sick cat on my hands but she's trying very hard to walk around and drink her water and at least get around a little bit.
Meanwhile, my niece didn't get news she was hoping for at her vet visit yesterday. Her vet did more bloodwork and now she has to wait until tomorrow for the news.
Let me tell you, we are a sight. So worried about our feline babies and just holding onto hope with one another.
I hope I have good news when I get back home. Might need a nap, however. I can hardly keep my eyes open!
Hope you're all having a Happy Hump Day!
Claudia

I do love the vet. Unfortunately, we got news I didn't want. It's not necessarily bad yet, so I'm still holding onto hope. Even today, in talking about more things that might have to be done, she was trying to find other places I could go for less money. So I know she's thinking about both me and my cat.

More unsettling news today. I just don't know what to do. I wish my cat could talk to me.

And we all know how tiring the waiting can be. Have you planned your next video trip yet? (speaking of waiting! LOL)

That sounds a very easy way to give a cat its medication.
