How do you plan your day here?

When you get on the computer with intentions of writing a lot, do you pre plan your posts or do they come naturally, right out of your head at the time? When I get on here I look at the amount of replies I will do and I get a pad and pen out to write notes about what I want to say. Sometimes I draw a blank and cannot think of things to write and then I will read through some good posts and waalaa, sometimes things click I can go on for hours. Other times, the mind is blank and I spend time reading a lot here with hopes to jar my fingers

Most of the time I have something to say because I write about my life and my kids mostly. There is always something to talk about with 5 kids! Lol.

I usually write my posts in advance, I have my favorite days for publishing. There are days where I think I can earn more, such as Wednesdays. Then it depends on how I feel, if I feel motivated to interact with others, I can't just post and leave.

@ramapo17 It's just my own assumption based on coincidences, Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays have been my best days. I think it's a combination of site revenues + interactions I received. It's easy to check and compare.

That is interesting. How did you figure you earn more on Wednesdays? I keep a record of daily totals but never checked them against each other. I will have to look it up and see if I can come up with any pattern.

When it comes to myLot planning is not something I do. If I feel like responding to comments I do that first, if I feel like reading discussions first I do that - it all depends on my mood and what I'm interested in. I like to switch things up - otherwise it gets to be 'work' and I don't want to work!

@ridingbet I remember them getting deleted for a few people on other sites. It is crazy that people think they can get away with that when the rules are published all over the place.

@ramapo17 indeed, even though many users' accounts get deleted because of spamming or plagiarism, there are many members of this site.

When I first started on here I did that too but I found during the day things would happen that would set off a trigger that it could be a good post, so I jot it down. I have also put things on a pad during the day and when I got on here, I couldn't find my pad. Must be a senior moment.

@ramapo17 yeah.. I used to write posts down in the word pad on my laptop when I was on bubblews.. for future posts so I just had to copy and paste them instead of remember.. but don't anymore.

It depends on my mood I guess. Usually the first thing I do when I get on mylot is check the most recent posts and see if anything jumps out at me. Then I post something, if I have anything to say, after that I check notifications. From there i just jump around. Sometimes I have posts preplanned, others I don't.

It is funny how we work from our moods. I totally understand you. Also if my husband is here I don't get into a lot of things as he keeps talking to me and I lose my train of thought which isn't had for an old blonde.

I don't always have something in mind to write about but when inspiration hits I write it down so I don't forget. I don't usually do more than one post each day in the morning.Lately I've been getting tied up in other things so my mornings aren't as routine as they used to be.

I usually have a lot of ideas of things to write about,The first thing I do here is to return comments left on my posts, then I check the "Discussions with no', making sure my friends aren't stuck there. I try to post everyday but I don't always get there - to me returning comments to my friends is more important than not doing it so it is the first thing I do. My time is limited on line but I do what I can.

Sometimes I write my discussions ahead of time. There are days too that the discussion just came out naturally. Like how my days goes by or what exactly happen to my day.

I can't seem to think of anything during the day. My inspiration usually comes in the early morning hours when I am not yet out of bed.
