I Don't Understand

There was just a story on the national news about a vet who can't get his prosthetics. He is told they are two months out. When he questions this the doctor says that this is their method. I am just wondering why the VA takes so long. Are they undermanned? Are there just so many vets trying to get help that it has become a problem? Is the system in need of up grading? Does anyone know?

This is in my view is due to the shortage of manpower. Better you inquire with them. It would be better.

How is he going to do his job during the waiting process? Too months are too long. Poor guy.

Being a Vet he should not have to wait for anything. That is just wrong.
