Yes! The internet is back up & running properly!

I am very happy with the internet technician that came out to fix our internet connection this evening. He was knowledgable and finished the job promptly. He provided us a brand new modem, as he said our previous one was at least 6 years old (which was true and at no additional cost either) and that should fix the inconsistent connection we've been facing. However, he will also double check the lines outside too just encase. So far, the connection has been going smoothly. It's amazing to come across a technician that can fix the internet connection without any issues or trial/error - makes life so much easier.

I am glad you were able to find competent help. When we had internet problems, it was the modem. We got a new one, as well as a signal extender (we had to pay for the extender but that's what the guy was initially coming out to hook up for us)... We haven't always had good service. I was living somewhere else and the technician didn't know exactly what they were doing... it was annoying, but we did finally get it straightened out.

I had my fair share of horrible technicians and I'm glad this one knew what he was doing. Upon installation we have to pay for the modem. Then, after that if we have any problems, they will be happy to provide us new ones at no additional charge! You could buy one too if you'd like but they change it for free.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes the service is eh , okay! :) But if I get a good tech they know how to fix it properly! I want to get that spectrum but they don't offer it here where I live yet They have it down more south of me and my cousins said it works wonders!

@infatuatedbby That is a really nice company that does your internet! Great service definitely. We've recently changed. We had TWC (time warner) but they've changed to Spectrum. Since I don't pay the bill, I don't know what all the changes entail...

Absolutely! The last tech I had was not useful. Didn't fix the issue and wanted to go in each room to check the dial tone. No thank you, we didn't allow it and said it's fine.

At the end of the last year we had connection problems and we also had a new router to replace the old one. I hope the problem is solved.
