I heard this on the news and was amazed Iknow of a guy ( he was a student at the same hospital where i worked at the time) who was a medical student he discovered a small growth on his spine all his med mates tried to diagnose it but as it started to grow had to seek proper medical attention. It turned out to be a growth that had been dormant since birth,he was going to be a co joined twin joined at the spine but the other baby had never formed properly. What had made it suddenly start growing is unknown

I've heard of something like that before. A 60 year old Indian man had a twin that calcified in his belly. He had always looked pregnant but never went to a doctor. Finally they operated on him and they took out this almost baby lookin' thing made out of "stone". It was a trip!

Wow! That's pretty interesting. I've read that it's common for one twin to outgrow, and sometimes even absorb the other. It's amazing that the twin that was absorbed continued to try to grow within it's sibling. I guess life will try to find a way if it can. Thanks for sharing!
