HBO might be doing something right.

I was scanning through entertainment news headlines on my Google feed, and came across one that kinda peaked my interest. Apparently HBO is going forward with a movie based on the book Fahrenheit 451. Michael B. Jordan of Creed and Michael Shannon are slated to star in it. I read the book, several years ago and am actually kind of excited about the movie adaptation. What about you? Would you sit down and watch this film?

I have already seen the movie adaptation of the Ray Bradbury book. Francois Truffaut directed the 1966 movie which starred Julie Christie.

I saw the 1966 version with Julie Christie. I really enjoyed it but I'm glad they are making a film for today's audience. Of course it'll have better special effects, etc., so today's generation might like it. It has a message that everyone should pay attention to. We have already started banning books so this scenario is very possible and even probable in today's politically correct frenzy.

I am in agreement that this story needs to be brought to the attention of a younger audience, especially with how things are playing out.
