Does anybody on here post on Steemit?

It is a forum posting site, that is very complex and not straightforward like myLot. I think it is not a scam but the rules around this are very complex..I have asked for cashout instructions (not that I am close it it) and I don't know that anyone has even answered the post..so I was wondering if anyone here has used and successfully cashed out on steemit? The steem has to be exchanged for other cryptocurrency as far as I can tell.

I also haven't heard of it but hope that you can get some helpful replies.
Cryptocurrency is a word I've heard of but don't think I've ever bothered to get defined. So what is cryptocurrency? Like bitcoin?

@ScribbledAdNauseum Actually, it has gone up astoundingly over the last several months. However, not sure it is the thing to invest in long term. I wish I would have taken those Bitcoin faucets more seriously.

@snowy22315 I never got into bitcoin. I know at one time it was going to be the next big thing. I know sites today still allow you to pay in bitcoin.

I know one person on here posted about Steemit..maybe I can find the post. Money adds up fast on there..but the rules around currency conversion are strange and cryptic.

I am going to look tomorrow AM unless I get an answer to my question I am not going to post on their anymore. I just don't have confidence the site is legit.

@snowy22315 try to find infos about it on the net.. there is website fro tessting websites safty.. scamadviser.com.. look at it and you find some feedback.
