Prevent to work !

My husband always prevent me to go to work.I was a career woman,but after our sons' birth I gave up my job. Now my son is 17yrs. Still he insists ! Is that man's ego ! Do you think he keep me at home so that he can get his clothes, his food ,etc...etc..ready in time. He is getting a good salary - that's not a problem - I feel boring just staying at home & doing the so-called "housework"
