Went to the garage to get cat litter-

After going into the garage to get cat litter, it seemed something was not right with the window on the side door. Checked that and then realized, the door to the house locked behind me.
Walked to the garden shed to get the extra keys for the front door. After letting myself in the front door, I could hear the mail being delivered.
After getting the mail before going inside again, it was easy to see the mail was not addressed to us.
While walking back to the mailbox and placing the envelope inside and putting the flap up, I spotted something on the ground. It appeared to be a foreign coin, so put that in my pocket to examine later and headed back to the house.
Got back to the house and realized the cat litter was still in the garage.
Hmmm....Just in case you are wondering, this story is nonsense. Never happened, but could if you had one of those days.
While walking to the front door it occurred to me the cat was not around this morning.
If you read the above, the question begs to be asked: Have you had a day like that?

@PatZAnthony Well, one day I rushed to the bank (walked for 20 minutes and took the bus for 10 minutes) to deposit a check and got in line and I couldn't find the check as I had forgotten it on the kitchen table.

This sounds like an experience I have had. I cannot remmber what I was getting, but wind blew the door shut with me on yhe wrong side of it and the only key inside. Unfortunately no money was involved and I was able to retrieve the key from inside rhe door where I had dropped it by putting my arm through the cat flap.
