Married At First Sight

I have been marathon watching this show called Married at first sight, people go and see a matchmaker and they literally find someone for you to marry, problem is you do not get to meet them you must resist these experts to find you're true match.
Now I can see someone whom is older maybe going on this show but to see 24 year olds does not make sense these are pretty people with lots of great qualities and so young I think they have time still to find someone in the real world.
Could you do this show? Have you seen it?

Ive seen a few episodes. I dont think its a good idea for anyone really. Not just the youngins.. i would never do it. I dont even think i could marry at all. Nevermind to a stranger.

@chrissbergstrom i think its more of a fear for me. And also bot wanting my mom to feel bad as shes not even in a relationship because of the terrible guys she has been with only using her. So dont want her to feel jealous or something cuz she could never have that

@Courtlynn I am sorry, yeah my mom was only married once to my dad and they had a horrible marriage, so I get what you mean. I am very close to my mom and I don't know if I could ever get married and go far away from family and I don't know how my family would react to me being married.

So interesting though to watch these strangers and there families all meet for the first time and the fact they are legally married and have never lived together so much can go wrong.

I have seen this show, and watched some of the episodes or a full yrs worth, to see if someone really is able to stay married. It is interesting why someone younger would need to be in a show and situation like this as like you said they should be able to date and explore and find someone more compatible for them that they would fall in Love with themselves.

I haven't seen the show but have heard of it. I could never do that show. I think most of the people who joined that show use that only as a stepping stone to get famous. Once they do get famous, they get endorsements and earn a lot of money.

Oh,... no thanks. I don't think a few visits with a matchmaker is enough for them to know well enough who you would match with... interesting show though

I do love that show! My favorite 2 couples were Jamie & Doug as well as Courtney and Jason. =)

It is rare it reminds me of old time arranged marriages but even then they atleast knew some thing usually

I had seen the show, first show as my daughter told me that one of her school mates' dad was on the show. As for me, I don't know why people come up with show like this.
Marriage becomes a joke these days to some people. But that's my opinion. What do you think of it?

I dunno, I mean I can see so many flaws to this show but I can also see how some are forced to make it work, and some really do seem.to fit so well... But for the most part there is so many negatives.
