I graduated high school in New Jersey in 1960. As anyone that was into "good old Rock n Roll" would remember that it was the best "Rock and Roll" of all time. The 50's was when it all started and I was there from the beginning. I first started getting into music because of my friends that played it all the time and the more I heard it, the move I LOVED it. To this day, I am almost 75 years old, I can still remember where I was whenever I hear a song from the "good old days". My daughters friends are so amazed that I can sing any oldie that comes on the radio and know all the words. That is what rock and roll was all about. Very catchy music that had a personality all of its own. Parents didn't understand it but the teens loved it. My dad use to say to me, if I put all my school work in songs, I would be an A student. I should have listened to him.
