No Hospital Please...

Today I have been feeling really different. Not like I am sick. I am one of the lucky ones where I do not get sick that often. If it was not for my heart failure, I would never feel bad. However, today... It is like I can't get my balance. I tried taking a walk and I kept feeling like I was going to fall, and could not walk fast. And I just wobbled all over the place like I was drunk or something. And I promise you...I have not had a drop of alcohol. LOL I took a brief nap and decided to get out of the house for a while. When I entered a gas station, I saw a blood pressure machine. So I decided to check mine. It was awful low for my normal reading. It was like 107/61. I tried calling my doctor, but it was Friday and they did not get back to me. The low pressure probably explains why I have felt like my balance has been off. Should I be worried? I guess I could go to the emergency room if I feel like I am getting worse. But won't take a chance driving me there. I do not want to black out. I have seen two drivers do that over the last few months. They just blacked out while driving for no apparent reason. Their cars were just sitting idle in the middle of the road. I will just call 911. Every now and then, I have to make a trip to the hospital for a few days. I hope this is not one of those times.

Last time I was like that I went to the same day care. They told me that my sinuses were not draining right which was causing me to be off balance.

@teresatrotter I have a daily nose spray now that almost takes away all sinus issues that are caused by my COPD

This is weird, I am never sick and yesterday my head spun and even today I do not feel very well. I wonder if the pollen can cause this problem.

Let us know what you found out. My first guess would have been ears or sinus, but with your history of heart issues, I guess it could be that, too.

Maybe your prescription is too high for you.

hope you get feeling better. My normal blood pressure is 90/60 My hubby has been dizzy when he stands up lately. He thinks it's a new prescription. Have you started or stopped any medications recently?

Maybe you should go to the hospital to be sure you are ok. Praying for you.

I would get checked out. It sounds like an inner ear infection

I hope you won't have to spend time at the hospital but I do think you need to have it checked out. I now how you feel about putting off being checked out. I feel like every time I have to go to the emergency room (yes, it seems to always be on the weekend) they end up keeping me for a bit of time. Good luck, I hope that feeling goes away.
