… To wipe away…

my shoulder with the cloth diaper

I commented on a discussion about, getting blurred vision because my sweat drips pass my eyebrows and reach my eyes. So, what do you have to wipe away your sweat? I have a cloth diaper (that my son used when he was still a baby) hanging on my shoulder, to wipe my sweat. The cloth diapers are sturdy; they are 25 years old now; and I still have 3 complete sheets. There are some players who also use a head band so the sweat from their head won’t drip down their face. A wrist band also wipes sweat with the swiping in one’s forehead. When my son was still a baby, I always placed a franella at his bedside. He carried that; and even now, he must have the franella as his wipe cloth. I bought him different colors of this type of cloth. Right now, he is using the sky blue franella. He cannot go out also without a handkerchief, like me. That is one main function of the eyebrow- it keeps the sweat from our forehead dripping to our eyes. Notice too in my profile picture; my left shoulder has a cloth diaper hanging. Do you have a cloth hanging on your shoulder? Do you sweat profusely?

hmm, so you use a facial tissue to wipe away your sweat? tissues disintegrate fast, so it means you have a pouch or a bag full of tissues?

Franellanis one of the most trusted cloth of moms for their babies. It is really hot in the Philippines. I just hope no more earthquakes and el ñino. In Jesus name this I ask, amen. I don't really like the effect of hot and sudden cold weather.

Switzerland is a cool country, with the mountains enveloped with snow. oh, i connect Switzerland with the milk Alpine, with the snow-capped mountain in the cover of the can.

I have hyperhidrosis,it is a condition where a person has over active sweat glands. In summer my hands would sweat a lot. Unfortunately , my feet ,too. That's why I cannot leave the house without hanky. Two hankies. I do not sweat on air-conditioned room, winter and spring (Korea),unlike others who have the same condition except when I am excited or nervous. I do not put my hanky or cloth on my shoulders ,though.

@ridingbet I don't know if that is true. In my case, my hyperhidrosis is inborn and I guess, genetic. My brother also has it. When we were young, we tried different ways to lessen if not totally cure .. So far, the most effective was soaking our hands on our own feet first thing in the morning. It will not perspire until you wash it off. But that was something we did not do on daily basis. Because we were kids, we were very lazy.

@Iam_jauntyjen yes i believe hyperhidrosis is inherited. i think there is a procedure to control the sweat glands from overproducing sweat.

yes, i mentioned hyperhidrosis in my comment to @Shavkat: @Shavkat me too, i don't have hyperhidrosis, but when it is so hot and i do not wipe away my sweat, it comes dripping in my forehead down to my nose. some older people said that hyperhidrosis can be treated by rubbing the palms with salt. i don't know if this is true.

I think it is not needed for me to have a hanky in my city. I don't sweat much. lol If I am in the lowland areas, I usually have small towels to wipe away my sweat.

@ridingbet I found when I am ouside in the summer I sweat more than I used to. I use a tissue to wipe the sweat. Your idea sounds good and or headband is also good.
