WIsh me luck!

I have been employed by the same place for six years..... but these past six months have been the worst... I have decided to look for alternate employment and have started to apply for different places. I am hoping to snag a full time position, but even if I don't get that, I hope to be paid more than I am being paid now... I know a lot of you already know some of the ordeal with my current place of employment. However, I will also add that I have not been getting many hours at all since.. well more than six months actually. I've finally decided to do something about it, and stop giving my place of employment excuses / the benefit of the doubt for their behavior. Wish Me Luck! This is truly a long time coming...

@ScribbledAdNauseum You are welcome. Are there any same-like job openings in your area?

I sure hope so. I just can't operate on so few hours anymore. If I find a job that is a non - compete for where I am now? I may retain my current job and work the other one as an aside... I will just have to see what works best for me.

@garymarsh6 I am not sure how applications for "grunt work" type jobs are laid out in the UK? However, most here have options to choose between. Full Time, Part Time and Either / Or. I always choose Either / Or when I apply to places... I'd rather have full time, but I won't denote one at the risk they pass over my application just for that. Thank You. I do hope I will get a better job, wherever it might be.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well I hope the new job you are applying for is a full time post especially if you want to get away from that imbecile of a boss.

I thought at one point you wanted fewer hours? Well good luck, I hope something good comes along! I was debating finding a new job myself.. then I got a raise, so I'm going to hold off on looking for now.

At one point I did because it was getting to be too much... but then they gave me only fewer hours.. I didn't ask for fewer hours, it's just the way it happened.

Yes it is... I hope I can find something though.. I'm only making $8.70 where I am now. I"m willing to stay at this one if I can find a secondary job as well.. I do like my co-workers, as I said.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Have you said before where you are working, or have you intentionally not said?
