Noisy Neon - Back in the final days of the month of March, I made some backyard photos, one of which was of a large and very noisy black crow that was watching us from its perch way up at the top of a nearby tree. Since then I have been playing around with that crow photograph and, as a result of all of this fiddling with the image in the computer, the crow has now come along as a "neon image." Not all that many crow birds have had the pleasure (or the pain) of being neonized. Possibly the most interesting aspect of this transformation is that no electricity was required to light up the bird with its new neon coloration. Maybe there was some energy going into the bird from the tree branch on which it was standing. One never knows. Image: Neon Crow - Gus Kilthau

@Hatley - Ms Patsie - It worked out just fine. Actually, I had forgotten that I had done an almost identical image earlier using program, "Paint.Net." This time I used my old favorite image manipulation program, the one named "GimPhoto." Both are freebies that you or anyone can download from "SourceForge.net." -Gus- p.s.: I suggest that you take a look at the video linked here. There is an app shown (last place in the video) that nicely portrays the neon photo imaging application.

@Hatley - Ms Patsie - I was attempting to see how the neon effect would come out of a computer program other than one I had used earlier for about the same thing, -Gus-

"neonized" -- have you coined the word or does it already exist?

@MALUSE - "M.-L." - That word may possibly have existed as far back as the ancient times of those Eqyptian Pharaohs - but I probably coined the word just today - and it is now valued at one-tenth of one mil, USD. -Gus-
