Day 226 Proverbs 21:9 Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. The saying goes, ‘If mamma isn’t happy, nobody is.’ It is equally true that if she is mean and dictatorial, there is no joy in the home either. It is best to stay away from her as much as possible and not get on her bad side. Easier said than done. If there is one scripture I can associate with more than any other, it is this one. Let’s pray: Father, let joy reign in my home and not contention and strife. Keep bitterness and anger far from me, so it will be a place of safety for all who enter my home.
