Day 226 Proverbs 21:9 Proverbs 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. The saying goes, ‘If mamma isn’t happy, nobody is.’ It is equally true that if she is mean and dictatorial, there is no joy in the home either. It is best to stay away from her as much as possible and not get on her bad side. Easier said than done. If there is one scripture I can associate with more than any other, it is this one. A happy childhood was not my lot in life. However, it wasn’t all bad either. Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines. If anyone knew the problems of women, he would. I’m almost certain there would have been brawling in the harem. As Christians, you are called to live peaceably with your neighbors as much as it is possible. Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: (KJV) When you make peace your objective and not fighting, you will find your home a happier place for everyone to live. Let’s pray: Father, let joy reign in my home and not contention and strife. Keep bitterness and anger far from me, so it will be a place of safety for all who enter my home. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. Copyright © 23 April 2017 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

Thank you for the prayers. I just hope we can really overcome those hatred and bitterness.... There. Is no problem with God granting it... But there are problems with people who ask for it who has a lot of pride Living in a very loud home is really hard for kids and for everyone living there. God bless.

Yes it is hard. I agree, there is no problem with God granting it.
