Good Morning, It is Sunday

We are getting ready for church. I hear a plane circling and wonder if it is a crop duster.
Lunch today will be very simple, cheesy hamburger dip. I will not eat chips with mine, but will put it on a small baked potato.
I hope we can work around the house some and just have fun together.
Maybe I will get out a board game.
Last Friday the PE teacher was introducing an oversized version of Yahtzee, for field day next month. She called it Yardzee. I have not played in ages and it was fun helping the kids.

For the Yardzee game the players will have four inch cubed wooden dice. They will shake them in a five gallon bucket. They will use the same rules as regular yahtzee.

@GardenGerty That sounds like so much fun! Back in "the day", a good friend of mine and I would play very long Yahtzee tournaments. There was no end to the fun we used to have with that game. Being able to play it outside is even better!

I had not played in a very long time. It was fun to review with the kids. In the gym we used medium sized dice, but outdoors she will be using 4 inch cubed dice, with the spots put on with a wood burner.

I have seen different yard size games in the past and they look easy to make. The cubes for this are 4 inches on each side. The rolling cup is a five gallon bucket.

Crop duster planes do aerial application of chemicals. Things like weed killers, and insect control, possibly fertilizer. I would not want to be outside if they were spraying near me.
