I used my crates to raise up my washing machine

I needed to get my washing machine out the bathroom away from my front door. With the motor running so loud on the bottom of the base bathtub I felt sooner or later somebody would knock on my door so I have it on these two crates and then I'll put the bucket next to it I'll be able to watch in my bedroom. You see what I have to go through because my building more let me have this little dinky washing machine.

I am not sure of how much it costs... but you can get this padding to put on walls that is for soundproofing things... I don't know how it adheres to things or if it will damage the walls. I just thought I'd let you know because maybe you could get a few pieces to put around the washing machine...

They have it at home depot but it won't work for the machine. it has fiberglass for insulation of homes.

Yes it is bad they won't let you have the machine Sharon. Same in this place, I had to sell mine. I hope those crates will keep the noise down.

I know. You've been doing this for a long time. You should run a load and wonder around the building and see if you can hear it in certain areas.

I did I shut my bedroom door to hear if you could hear it outside the front door. It was much quieter.

Much quieter in my room away from the front door. I need to make sure it does not tip over so I will only wash small loads.

@infatuatedbby oh yeah I tossed a towel over it and some clothes like it's a unkept area. It was all I could do since it slants forward. I would love it for a shelf.

@sharon6345 That's not right what are these machines hurting not a thing and when not in use they are small enough to hide somewhere.
