Coming in at # 9 on my favorite little creatures in the woods series is the Rabbit. Rabbit's are another one of the cutest. I never personally had one as a pet, but my family did and, me and, Rooger have saw one before on our walks, it hopped away very quickly, they can get around 2 feet in length and, I guess maybe up to 20 pounds possibly more for a Buck, they also have great hearing, great vision and, dig burrows with their sharp claws, which can also be used for defense, especially a powerful kick from their hind legs to a Foxes face, as we know from Bugs Bunny Rabbits are very hard to catch and, very smart. Some information verified at Wikipedia. Rabbits usually live around 12 years in the wild and, babies are called Kit's, another interesting note is they are very fast, they can move between 35 and, 45mph.

I only saw one rabbit on our property and that was last spring. It hopped right by Doodles, who missed it completely. He was busy smelling a bush. Lol!

We had families of rabbits living in the back yard of my old house and I would see them out, mostly at night. They were completely adorable!

There's some that live under my parent's shed. You're right, they're really fast.

I remember we had a rabbit when we were children. One or two white ones. Cute little fellas.
