~So Much Accomplished~

Hey everyone! I hope your all doing well. I am feeling good today. I got so much done already today, I am feeling so accomplished. =)
So far today I vacuumed, scrubbed the counters, scrubbed the stove, did the dishes, put away the clean dishes, bagged up the laundry, straightened up the living room and my bedroom, took a shower (which is a feat in itself with 2 babies! Lol), took care of the dogs, took care of the babies and now I'm Mylotting for a bit while the little ones are napping. =)
Phew! I can't believe I got all it done before 2:30 in the afternoon. I need to work on finding another way to hang the owls in the girls room. It's a popcorn ceiling so nothing sticks to it... Ugh. I will figure out something I'm sure.

Most certainly not as productive as yours!
I remember having the babies around too, never went to the bathroom alone, NEVER! one was always in the walker following me or playing while ..... A shower?! You did good.

I know right? I barely ever shower without my husband home to watch the babies! I was excited! Lol

It's good that you were able to accomplish so much. It's nice when you can get things done. This morning I took my eldest to the dentist. That's pretty much how I spent my morning. Or a good part of it. Now I am just a little tired and feel like resting.

@LovingMyBabies Yeah, they do tend to take some time. I will definitely try and rest. But knowing my kids, it might be a little tricky, but we'll see.

My man had a couple appointments this morning then after we went to mcdonald's for lunch after that went home. You did awesome for everything you did today good job. I hope you figure something out soon on how to hang the owls in the girls room.

@DianneN Yeah I got a burst of unheard of energy today. Lol. I could try the hook, their not flat so I'm not sure the tree would work.

Wow thats alot to get done. Especially with two little ones! Take it easy now. We have popcorn ceilings too and hate it

Wow you have been busy! It must feel good to have that all done and out of the way and even a shower! I am impressed and time to mylot. Sounds like a good day to me. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

@Happy2beme Yes it feels amazing! I feel like I can accomplish almost anything today. Lol.
The shower is the most amazing part because I normally only get those when my husband is home. I was excited that I got a shower without him here! =)

Not quite as productive as yours, but my husband and I did get a few carloads of stuff out of our old apartment today. As much as I'd like to make another run, I really need to take it easy for the rest of the afternoon because I work tonight. If I have enough energy I may go over after work and round some more of the odds and ends we have left over there up.
I missed your post about the owls, but looking back through your activity I see that they're just adorable! Have you tried thumbtacks yet? If those won't work, what about those small screw-in hooks that are about an inch long? Since you're putting string on the backs, maybe you can turn them into a garland and kind of drape them across the ceiling rather than just hanging them individually.
Love the picture you shared of Josiah, too! He's getting so darn big!

@LovingMyBabies I haven't been on much since we've been so busy moving and getting the new house in order. Plus I tried switching to a new account, but they never closed this one like I assumed they would after I asked, and I just wasn't feeling the new username so now I'm back here. Hopefully they'll understand and just close the other one now! *crosses fingers*
Isn't it amazing how quickly the little ones grow? Our youngest just transitioned to the preschool classroom last week, and the oldest is 7 now. It's like... where does the time go?!

Wow, you did good! I cleaned the kitchen, did the dishes, and got stuff out for dinner. Been writing and cleaning off and on throughtout the day.
I don' t know if you figured anything out for the owls, but if you get colored push pins and monofilament fishing line you can stick the push pin in the ceiling, and tie the fishing line around the push pin, and tie it to the owl. Wala. it will look like they are floating.

Ah push pins, duh! Thank you. Those should work, if not I'm going to try some hooks. Push pins I can get at dollar tree. =)
