A trip through culinary horrors. The Southern Living 1980s version. Part 2

I figured I would go ahead and do the second installment of this series since I just spent thirty minutes thumbing through the book again. This one is from the "South of the Border" section of the cookbook, and it isn't any better than the first one I found. This one is listed as "Guacamole Mousse" and the list of ingredients is no more appealing than the title. This treat contains gelatin, chicken bouillon, salt, avocado, sour cream, green onion, lemon juice, hot sauce, carrot, celery and ripe olives. Again I have to say WHAT!? What was going on in the eighties that caused things like this to be on menu's or in cookbooks? I honestly hope that no one here has tasted this, because I may need to rethink our friendships if you have.
