We got back from the Fairbridge Music Festival about 40 minutes ago and we've unloaded the essentials from our bus/motor-home. We've had a great time. The weather was wonderful if a bit windy on a couple of occasions and the music was very enjoyable too – if a bit loud on a couple of occasions!
The bus lost an alternator belt not long after we left home which delayed us about ten minutes. 'Lost' in this context means it came 'off' whatever it was supposed to be 'on'. Luckily Vince was able to get it back 'on', tighten a bolt holding it and we had no more trouble.
I have quite a few photos to share so will write about different aspects of the weekend with each photo. For now, here is a photo looking back from one of the marquees towards the camping area. Our bus, our friends' caravan and motor-home were parked next to each other in the front line but behind one of the trees to the right of the photo.
I notice I have an amazing number of responses to my 'nothing' post and I have 60+ emails of notifications. My 'nothing' responses I might need to club together but I'll get back to everyone eventually. And it's nice to be home.

@LadyDuck No, not really. We had two children aged about 9 and 10 who asked very nicely could they see inside. They were quite sure it was just what their Mum needed!! Vin asked where they lived so they asked where we lived and when we said Donnybrook, the little boy said very matter-of-factly 'Dad's girlfriend lives in Donnybrook'. It's very sad to hear stuff like this I think.
Another young lass looked for her friend. She looked about early 30s but had 7 children. She mentioned her partner so perhaps it was a second relationship and they both had pre-existing children. The world has changed a great deal since I was a child.

Waiting for more photos. Just one thing about emails. I have disabled that feature and just depend on notifications here.

@JudyEv You are right when you say to each their own. I attend to notifications then and there and several times in the day.

The bus has been a lot of fun but now it's up for sale. We were in Melbourne for Christmas. Found an AirBnB and knew it was close to our son but until we signed up we didn't know how close. Turns out it was in the same street three doors up! We're off to see son No 2 in Ireland late in May but maybe when we return we'll head off on the 'big lap'.

Thanks. I'll mix them up a bit with other stuff. We've had some new birds come to the bird bath lately so that's been interesting.

I used to get really anxious whenever we broke down on the road but I have improved with the years. And luckily Vince is very handy and mostly seems to know how to fix our problems.

My 'nothing' post got 58 responses! Which sort of blows the idea of needing to have 'a catchy title' out of the water.

Thanks Malu. We were very lucky with the weather as many years there has been a thunderstorm or dust storm or something similar.

Did I miss your nothing discussion? I've only been here sporadically for the last two weeks. The nice weather, and the amount of activity I'm trying to accomplish is keeping me away from the Internet.
Sounds like the music festival was a success.

Wonderful blue skies with puffy clouds for as far as the eye can see.
