Raleigh's Under Water!

I was just in the kitchen, putting my laundry into dry when the weather channel started covering Raleigh (NC) flooding.
They were circling around the mall area and showing how many places were just flooded with the rain that came (and is still coming) through. 9 inches someone reported in Raleigh.
I know, last time I checked, it was about six inches here but that was early yesterday..
Oh, and we expect more rain and thunder during the weekend. Not sure if we will have respite tomorrow and Thursday but I sure hope so!

I know nothing of the weather patterns for most of Europe. Does Germany get a lot of rain each year?

@ScribbledAdNauseum This is a question I can't answer because it's relative. My husband, who's from the south of Italy, thinks there is too much rain in Germany compared to his country. An English or Irish person would say the opposite.

It's blimmin' freezing over here. We've had wintry showers and all sorts.
Are you in NC? I know a couple of people from Raleigh, or there abouts. Before the internet I'd never heard of it and now I hear about it seemingly more than any other place in the US!

Oh boy. Hearing so many people on here are getting tons of rain and floods.. crazy. It just started raining here this morning. Its off and on though. Stay dry

It was earlier but not now.
Here in Worcester the river Severn runs through the city so it gets flooded badly on occasion...same as my old city Gloucester did.
Luckily no floods here so far.

Actually it is, but nothing like that yet. We're supposed to be getting a good storm in awhile, though. We'll see.

It has, but there's a chance it might start up again later in the week. April showers started late this year for us..

I recall some bad flooding here as well... but tornadoes are what stand out to me the most. (What I Remember the most)
