What do you do when you are lonely?

"An empty mind is a devil's workshop", this proverb is very much right. When we are alone our mind tends to move into the darker world. So instead we can make a better use of it.
I like to read books, which take me into an other dimension along with the story. We get to learn new things, improve our vocabulary and also enjoy time.
Another way is walking the memories. Yes that's right, I think of all those beautiful days that have passed down the lane. It makes me think how I was and what I have become! This also makes us feel enthusiastic.
One more way is to listen to music and songs that beast suits your mood and nature.
I also do cleaning and other works rather than sitting empty.
Well fellas what do you do when you are alone?

@manasamanu Some members don't mind, some members don't like this overfamiliarity. I belong to the latter group. I don't 'Like' posts by members who mate, buddy, friend or guy me.

To be honest I don't get lonely anymore.
I like my own company as long as the internet is working...I prefer being alone

Yeah they hurt, still wandering in there feels good, remembering the childhood, our teenage, those school days all those mischieves. Its amazing, isn't it?

@manasamanu I love being alone & in solitude. There's no set pattern about how I enough my time. Reading books, like you, knowing things, planning & thinking, etc...

I pretty much do what you do. I enjoy being alone and just thinking, remembering, reading a book, or listening to music. I know a lot of people who can't stand to be alone and I feel badly for them. It's a gift to be able to enjoy your own company.

I co me to mylot to find my fends here and chat and tell how I feel alone and I'm 'cheered and I learn how they all are. LI hear the good stories and the bad. I offer sympathy;thy where needed and
encouragement where needed. they do the same for me.

I don't really get lonely anymore. I am alone alot but I have 2 cats and when I am bored I will clean and start to learn new recipes for cooking and try an organize things around the house and also someyimes I like to re do furniture like paint it and re arrange the rooms sometimes.

That was really great and so enjoyed reading that. I like to read when I can't watch TV and listen to music on my porch when I can. I also like to work on the computer when I can either creating things or going to My Lot and checking in at facebook to see what I have missed or check my messages at facebook. I do not visit facebook that much only check messages and maybe go in and out these days.
