Marsha's Log: The Other Challenges

I thought I would share the picture of all of the challenge quilts that were brought in to guild. Sadly, 30 people bought the kits, but only 11 of us actually made something for the challenge. If you can enlarge the picture, the winner was #7, which is the smaller one above the flower appliqued one. The one will multiple colors in a "circle" with black and white around the edge. Her star was tiny in the center of it all. The President's choice went to #11, which is below mine. That gal said she had no idea what to make. She said she told her 10 year old granddaughter that she had to make something to include the 2 colors of fabric in our kit. She said her granddaughter took about 10 minutes to draw up the picture and she made the quilt from her picture. These ladies are all so talented!!
