What is auto assignment in progress in Windows 10?

I was running a security scan on my desktop PC but decided to play a game of Diner Dash while waiting, then after finishing with and closing that game, a message appeared on my desktop inside a box but disappeared. I was unable to recognize this message and it was the first time I ever saw it. I remembered only briefly, that message - "Auto Assignment In Progress" Have any ideas about this? I am really stumped by it.

No idea at all. Could it be some sort of virus infecting your computer?

I already checked it out for a virus and not. So I am still in the dark about this unfamiliar message in my PC. Cool The Alan Parson's Project, Eye In The Sky. I like that album.
