garage parking

Ok mylot friends this is something that I don't understand if you have a garage on your home why do you not park your vehicles in it me and my boyfriend was talking about this because my mom has a garage big enough to park 2 vehicles and neither one gets put in garage but it never changes I guess because in the house I grew up in we had 2 garages one attached to house and other out behind our house that my step-dad worked on cars in neither one held cars.

I have a 2-car garage on my house, and I don't park my truck in it. I didn't realize it at the time I bought my house, but my truck is about 6 inches too long to fit in the garage!

@Tina30219 It's not really a big deal. I've never been one to park my vehicles inside my garages anyway! haha
i've actually been thinking about converting my garage into a large family room/recreation room. It's something I've always wanted to do.

@moffittjc My mom was wanting to put carpet in hers and use part of it as like a extra bedroom.

My boyfriend and his parents had to move in with his moms mom few years ago and she had one for two cars yet they only kept hers in it instead of one of their two cars as well.

Maybe it's more convenient to leave the cars out of the garage. It does seem a bit strange though.

I really don't know too many people while actually park their vehicles in the garage. The garage is usually filled with other stuff.

And that is what is in my moms.She has a patio table and chair set in there with a big screen television and refrigerators and freezers.

When my husband and I built our home it had a two car garage. The first two years my car and the family car were both parked in the garage. Then my cR was bumped outside while the riding mower and my husbands workshop took up one bay of the garage. Later, I set up a storage area in the second bay...now both cars were parked outside.
