I had a google crash this AM which freaked me out. I thought I was going to have to reload everything on the computer, however, a simple re start seemed to put everything right. I am not sure why it happened. I run malware, anti virus scans etc. I do know I have one little thing on my computer that keeps popping up that shouldn't be there..but the malware and anti virus don't seem to touch it. Roomie says he can fix it for me..but whenever I hand over my computer to him it takes him forever to run his scans and so forth. It is maddening..I have a chromebook I can use but I like this one..Did your google ever crash? Did you find out the reason?

If i tend to open too much pages and applications are running in the background then it might crush. I have it very rarely and for me it is mostly because of this issue

@Nawsheen Yeah, but I am not paying someone to look at my puter. Roomie is pretty techy. If it gets too annoying I will put him to work on it.

Maybe the restart couldve fixed it? Or have you seen ot pop up since you did the restart? Maybe clear your caches and history in internet. That fixed my thing last night on my phone

I have done those things in the past. There is some kind of worm or something in here that might or might not have been the cause of the crash. Whatever it is, is resistant to removal. Thanks for the suggestion though..it is a good one.

@Courtlynn THis device is gonna have to be replaced at some point anyway..because the battery is gone, it has to stay plugged in all the time. I take the chromebook or tablet whenever I go out somewhere.

This is what I don´t like about computers. Unless you have everything in space and paying for it.

They can be a bit perplexing. I would have hated reloading everything on here.

@snowy22315 I lost forever some of the short stories I had written after a problem such as that one. New I print them. There´s nothin better that the old printed stuff.

Not sure if mine ever crashed but sometimes it does things I don't expect and certainly don't know how to fix things. I have to wait for my son to come home from school to help. It's so annoying.

I know I am going to end up having to give this to roomie to look at but like I said, whenever he takes the computer plan on it being gone for a day and a half. He doesn't do anything fast!
