Marsha's Log: Quilt Retreat This Weekend / myLot

Basically this is my note that I won't be around Friday and Saturday. Even though I'm out of town 3 days babysitting this week, I so look forward to getting up early 2 more days for my dedicated sewing time at the retreat this weekend!! I've had my car packed since Monday to make sure it was all ready to go. I just need to go to the store tonight for my part of the food for everyone for the weekend. This time we decided to sign up to bring meal foods for the weekend for everyone. I am taking 2 bags of salad, shredded cheese, croutons, and salad dressings. I only have 3 projects packed---the yo-yo's to start putting the valances and table runner together, the Charming Stars quilt to work on finishing, and the black, white, and a little red quilt that I have only worked on at the retreats. I am sharing my picture of my last project on the black, white, and a little red quilt. I will plan on sharing my progress on all 3 projects once the weekend is over. Do you have any plans this weekend?

This work in progress quilt looks very nice. I have no projects for the weekend. I would love to work outside, but for the moment is raining, if it continues I have to change my program.

It's turned too cold here again for me. I am frustrated that the high over the weekend is 47.

Very nice job. Have a wonderful time. I wish we had a quilt guild here. A friend that I haven't seen for a few months is coming over for the day on Saturday.

I hope you enjoy retreat this weekend and get lots done. We have a friend coming from out of state can't wait to see him we have not saw him in a long time.
