She hates her children.

Claudia came home for hunch and she looked like a dragon lady would. She said she hated her children and how could they don´t understand how to make a minimal job. Nothing she asked, could be done or found. Vicente (13) spends now his time in the shower (he seems to have a girl to take to the junior prom) and does not find the napkins to help out setting the table. And so it went on and on and I laughed and laughed remembering what Claudia did when she was that age. I think it is wonderful to have a mother to tell her all this. And it is part of our loving role to remind our children how obnoxious they were a long time ago Claudia will take me tomorrow to buy the gas cylinder. She went in a hurry to recieve the smallest brat from school.

Yes we can laugh now...they forgot what they were like as kids and teenagers. Too funny.

I wonder is they have no memory left. But today Claudia remembered how I had made a deal with her to give her a present for each kilo more she weighed. And said that now she did not want those extra kilos

I'm lucky to have a really good mother I mean you won't even notice her flaws. I'm happy I have her in my life.

Yes, they have already forgotten how they were. Its great to have a Mother to talk to. You are a good Mom Margi. Is is El Dia de la Madre there on Monday? Is it also a Holiday too?

@marguicha Not over there? Was thinking that they would all have been in agreement with that Holiday as here its "sagrado" you know. Never mind it is here but we are swamped with "Mom" adverts all over the place. Being a Mom is every day of the year wherever you are.

Claudia´s children are both adorable. But you can´t expect an old 13 year old kid to behave like a baby. And Sofía (6) has learned to manipulate everyone but me.

It is funny isn't it? It is a bit like karma visiting our children and repaying them for their past sins.

Yes. But nothing my children did was as awful as I was in childhood.

@JudyEv So I don´t think that I can be surpassed. And, as we talked with Claudia, I learned about several naughty things she did without my knowing

My kids are still kids.. and I'm going through what Claudia is going through now. They won't do anything they're asked unless they want something. It gets frustrating. I know I wasn't great about doing my chores when I was a kid, but I also didn't completely ignore the chores, I just procrastinated. My kids flat out refuse to do theirs!

@marguicha Mine never say no.. They're supposed to do them when they get home, so that everything's done before I get home from work 3 hours later. But when I get home nothing is done so I end up having to yell at that and get all stressed out. I have to wait for them to do their chores before I can start dinner, because the kitchen is too messy to cook.

I think my grandchildren don´t properly "refuse" to do them. But their usual sentence is "I´m coming" and they don´t go. Not that I don´t understand them. And children never find what their mother asks them to bring. My children (and I) did that too. It so seems that they look up the ceiling instead on where said things should be.

We sure do appreciate our parents more as we get older, we also realize what little jerks we could be as kids.

Yes. I find these conversations with Claudia helpful for her and amusing for me. It took it a while today to remember some incidents of her chilhood One would have thought that she was born making her bed

Three. But Carolina is an adult. Although today I reminded Claudia the Vicente and Sofía were saints as compared to Carolina at their age.
