You know when it rains it pours on the DIsney empire when first they have to layoff 100 employees at ESPN on Wednesday.
Now come the bad news that "Miracle" actor Michael Mantenuto was found dead in his automobile in Des Moines Washington of an apparent suicide.
Mantentuto was an actor that play in the 2004 Disney movie called "Miracle" when was about the 1980 U S Ice Hockey Men's Team that beat the former Soviet Union Men's Ice Hockey team in the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid New York.
The U S team was called "Miracle On Ice" by then ABC sportscaster Al Michaels who said "Do you believe in miracles?" at the end of the ice hockey game when the U S beat the Soviets in ice hockey then went to win the gold medal by beating Finland in the final game of the tournament.
Mantenuto played the role of Jack O' Callahan in the movie that starred Kurt Russell as ice hockey coach the late Herb Brooks.

I dont know this movie or person.. i dont think. So many deaths in just a few days. Ugh.

I never heard of Michael Montenuto either. However I do remember the Miracle On Ice 1980 U S Hockey Team. I just wonder if there is a curse on actors?

He never really did all that much acting career wise. I wonder if he was depressed Miracle didn't do more for him.

That is usually the case with many celebs who die young. They usually have a hard time finding work playing other characters in the movies.
