Are you a cat or dog person? Or do you prefer neither?

I like different things about both. What is nice about cats is that they don't need to be walked all the time, and you can leave them alone longer without fear that they will do some major damage to your home. They also have a litter box. The one thing I don't like about them is those super sharp nails. My experience has told me that most dogs are friendlier. They are so happy to see you when you get home. Unfortunately, some breeds need to be walked all the time. Some bark constantly if you are not home. That can be an issue if you live in an apartment or townhouse.

I have never had a cow as a pet. That sounds like fun. They do look friendly.

I like both cats and dogs, but I like cats much more. I think cats have their own characters and they will not please you on purpose. It is different than dogs. Besides, they are really adorable.

@MsBooklover yes dog reacts when they see you around by this is not the case with my cats. They seem to be always devising plots to make a mess around

@Nawsheen You are right. Cats always look like they planning something they shouldn't be.

@MsBooklover I have a scar on my stomach from being mauled by a German shepherd as a child.

@JohnRoberts Oh no, I hear more and more about these issues. The dogs that seem to hurt people are pit bull types, but others are joining this, too. Such a shame.

Dogs and cats were part of my childhood, but I prefer dogs over cats. I remember my favorite dog named "Blacky".

I lived with my aunt and her family for about a year. They had a dog by the same name. She was simple and did not bark much. Those memories enhance your love for a dog or cat more.
