Yes, it is my birthday, thanks for the wishes! lol (yes it was lucky I had time to stop by today).
I have a small laptop now, which I am going to start taking to my new job. I have to wait for J who I commute with, so I finally found a place with free wifi, and plan on going there for the hour and a half after work to be online, so HOPEFULLY this works out and I can be on more! Sorry, work hours are crazy, life is crazy, and getting on here hasn't been possible.
I WILL keep doing the poem though! Never fear. LOL
Anyways, job is going well. Easy work. Ended up being in a classroom I had subbed in, and got asked to sub in, alot. One of two such in that school. Amusingly, not one I interviewed for, turns out someone transferred schools, so a spot opened up that had to be filled first. I have no idea where I will be next year, but it's all good, this classroom is pretty laid back all things considered.

@Jessicalynnt I sat in a room in the welfare office, learning about values and goal that would propel me toward getting work- at my age and situation, not seriously looking for a paid gig but otherwise, taking in ideas on boosting my self esteem and setting personal goals such as submitting poetry to folks I'd never heard of.

Great that you are getting asked to sub a lot! When I was doing the sub calling for our schools, we had a few that were always requested to work. They never had to worry about not having work.
I am home again today with the little one. She has a cold and was running a low grade fever. Happened to see her mom and we picked her up. They had lunch together and are now taking a nap.
I am enjoying the quiet and the nice breeze coming through the open windows. Ahhhhh. Gorgeous day.

oh! This isn't subbing, I got hired on FT for a job I had been covering as a sub. But yeah, I was being requested a lot. I still am, which is sad, as I can't anymore.

Glad to hear that you are getting enough work by subbing. When I did the sub calling for the schools there were a few that the teachers would always request to have sub for them. They never had to worry about not having enough work.
I am enjoying another unexpected day off. Little Miss is napping at the moment and I am enjoying the quiet.

It's much less crazy and stressful for sure! I am working towards being on some on the weekends, and for a hour most weekdays if I can juggle it
